GOSS COLLECTORS’ CLUB AUCTION

DECEMBER 2019

Welcome to the Goss Collectors' Club monthly auction of Goss and other makes of heraldic (or crested) china.

Below are listed the items available in this month's auction. For each lot, descriptions both of the piece and of the arms or decoration it bears (if any) are given, followed by its reserve price. Lots listed in normal (upright) typeface were produced by the Goss factory, though this is not stated explicitly in the individual descriptions unless the item is a late "Goss England" piece. Items produced by other factories are listed in italic type, and in these cases the description begins with the factory name, which is underlined.

Please note that the auctions are only open to members of the Goss Collectors' Club, who are welcome to submit bids for or requests for information about specific pieces in it by email to the club auction secretary. Members and non-members may also purchase unsold items from earlier auctions at the reserve price. Regularly updated lists of the currently available items can be found here.

Non-members may send in postal bids for pieces in these auctions provided their membership application and the appropriate subscription is sent at the same time. Please see the club's home page or contact its website manager for details.

For the full terms and conditions of bidding please see the auction rules.

Enquiries regarding the Goss Collectors' Club may be submitted to its website manager.

Season’s greetings to you all.

Yes it is the last auction of the year and, as usual held very early.  Please ensure you bid in time.

Should you fail to bid in time and something that interests you did not sell it can be purchased at reserve.  This is also true for unsold lots from previous auctions.  So, should it be that you wish to pass an evening then why not take a look through that which is available?  Those of you with a home computer can do this relatively easily but not so if you don’t have the equipment.  If that is the case let me know what may be of interest, expression of interest does not mean a commitment to buy, and I shall do the searching for you.

Indeed, my desk will remain open throughout the festive season, well all but Christmas Day, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Bids please by noon on Saturday 7th December please with electronic bids by midnight on the 6th – together with full posting details.

Ted
