In the May 2017 edition of the Goss Hawk there was an article by the late Ken Kershaw about Lloyd George.  The following pieces can be found illustrated in that article together with the inscriptions which many of the pieces bear. Many items are crazed and slightly substandard – probably because of the less than perfect factory conditions at the time

93.

Grimwades 140mm earthenware Milk Jug for a family of 10 (small chip from inside of the rim and nicks from around the lip, crazed) with ‘Special message from ..  Lloyd George ……’ Royal Standard on the other side ‘Made by the Girls of Staffordshire ….’ on a green ground on the base

94.

Grimwades 100mm earthenware Milk Jug for a family of 3 with ‘Special message from ..  Lloyd George ……’ Royal Standard on the other side ‘Made by the Girls of Staffordshire ….’ on a green ground on the base (Crazed)
