The highly anticipated Goss Collectors’ Club AGM and Fair took place at the Wisteria Hotel, Oakham on 27th March 2022. Members and non-members alike had a great time, especially those fortunate enough to be able to make a whole weekend of it. Oakham is a lovely town with plenty to see and do on the doorstep, plus there was the added bonus of a delicious Club dinner at the hotel and the opportunity to acquire some excellent pieces of Goss. Win/Win!
Membership Secretary John Whipp had been responsible for processing new members, handling renewals, and running the ballot for the Margaret Latham Memorial Prize, tasks he carried out with dedication and great professionalism. After many years, he decided that it was time to retire. Ably aided and abetted by his wife Pat, they will both be sorely missed. John and Pat were presented with gifts, to show the Club’s appreciation for everything they had done for the Club for so many years.
