December’s Pot of the Month is this spectacular Parian Christmas pudding Plate. We say spectacular, because it’s a whopping 13½”/34cm in diameter. With coloured raised Holly decoration all the way around the rim, just imagine it with a big fat Christmas Pudding in the middle, flaming with Brandy! An early piece (First Period 1858-87), it has the usual chips and nibbles around the edge you would expect for a piece of this age. It bears an early impressed W.H.Goss mark on the base. A great item to have, especially at this time of the year.
