Avebury Urn

A very early model which sometimes turns up bearing two coats of arms. The Goss Record gives no particular agent for the model, and the arms of Calne are only quoted here as “the” matching arms on the grounds that an advertisement by the Calne agent in the 8th edition indicates that the Avebury Church Font is specific to that agent, which is confirmed by the listings in the 9th edition. The arms of Devizes and Marlborough, which are about the same distance from Avebury as Calne, are also generally accepted as matching.
