Margaret Goss was the Great Grand Daughter of William Henry Goss. She created a series of designs for children’s mugs, of which this is one. Standing at 2¾”/70mm high, this pretty mug carries a Little Bo Peep decoration. You won’t see this very often, if at all, as this particular decoration is rare. The design wraps around most of the mug, so was difficult to photograph in its entirety, hence the three images. The middle image also includes Margaret Goss’s monogram, (this one dated 1923), which appeared on most of her designs.
