Leicester Tyg

inscription:  Model of tyg found in Highcross Street 1867 now in Leicester Museum. Rd. No. 495670

height:  60mm

matching arms:  Leicester;  Semper Eadem

notes:  This model, which was registered in 1907, has three handles, the third being invisible in the photo because it's at the back. It usually bears three coats of arms, one between each pair of handles, with the additional arms on matching models being quite often those of Leicestershire and Simon de Montfort.
